Dr. Rachael Schuette

Welcome to Blue Ridge Family Dental in beautiful Apex, North Carolina! Thank you for taking time to learn more about our practice. I know how important it is to feel comfortable and confident with your choice of dental care providers. I can assure you that I will take the time to listen to your needs and do what I can to provide quality dentistry in a relaxed, family-oriented environment with a commitment to your overall oral health.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a dentist. Dentistry has had a positive impact on my life and I have always wanted to provide and share that experience with others. It was also around this time in my childhood that we went on a family road trip from my small west-central Wisconsin hometown through North Carolina. Between the mountains in the west to the ocean in the east, I knew I wanted to live here some day.

I received my undergraduate degree in Biology (B.S) from the University of Minnesota. From there, I went on to graduate cum laude from Marquette University School of Dentistry. After dental school, I felt it was important to gain more clinical experience so I chose to further my education with a general practice residency. This was also an opportunity to move down to North Carolina. I completed my residency at MAHEC in Asheville, NC. It was during this time that I fell in love with the mountains and the views along the Blue Ridge Parkway (hence the name).

We moved to Apex in 2015. I truly enjoy North Carolina living with my husband, Todd, and our two daughters, Brianna and Sophia. I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, doing projects around the house and sewing projects with my girls.

I am honored to be an integral part of the Apex community and I look forward to welcoming you to Blue Ridge Family Dental!

I started my journey in dentistry in 2005, and have loved every minute of it. Building relationships with our patients and helping them is the best part of my job. North Carolina became my home in 2011. My husband, son and I enjoy the beach and exploring all of what this amazing state has to offer. I look forward to helping you with your smile.

I started my dental career working as an assistant for my Uncle in Northern Virginia. After a 10 year hiatus to spend time as a stay at home mom, I went back to school to become a Dental Hygienist. I love helping patient learn new ways to better take care of their teeth and brighten their smile. I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Registered Dental Hygienist

Hello! I’m Lindsay and I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 13 years now. I moved to the triangle area from Wilmington, NC after attending school. I lived in the Cary/Apex area for 10+ years until my husbands job took up to Wisconsin for a few years. We recently moved back and are loving it….once again. We have 2 boys, 5 and 3, who keep us very busy. When I’m not at work you can find my family and I enjoying sports, outside enjoying this NC weather, or visiting our wonderful local restaurants/breweries.

I really enjoy getting to know my patients and building lasting relationships with them. I sincerely look forward to meeting with you and helping you build a lasting, healthy smile.

Before being welcomed with open arms by the team at Blue Ridge Family Dental, I was lucky enough to spend my customer service career in retail traveling across the United States, providing training for others in the customer service field. I also gained experience in medical office administration, and it was in this role that I truly felt my customer care skills had an impact on the day-to-day lives of patients and our surrounding community. I am excited to build new relationships with our patients here at Blue Ridge Family Dental, and honored to be the newest addition to this fantastic team!

When I’m not in the office, you can find me digging garden beds in my front yard in Apex, checking out too many books from the library, burning something in the kitchen, or planning my next great adventure with my husband and our Australian Cattle Dog, Opal.

I am so excited to be a part of the Blue Ridge Dental family! I grew up in NE Ohio but have spent most of my life here in North Carolina both in Raleigh and in Wilmington. I’ve always had an interest in dentistry so when I had the opportunity for a career change several years ago, I started my dental career! I love getting to know my patients and making their experience as pleasant as possible.

In my free time, I love spending time with my Husband and two children, Taylor and Jake. We love taking weekend trips to the beach or exploring new places around town. When we are home you’ll find me firing up the grill or relaxing with a good book!

I’ve been a dental assistant for almost 20 years! My goal with each patient is to make them feel more comfortable and confident in their smile. I’m from Iowa and have worked in a variety of dental settings; large practices, pediatrics and the VA hospital. Working with kids and veterans has been so rewarding but after a family move to NC I feel grateful to have found a practice like Blue Ridge Family Dental that really takes the time and focused care with each patient.

In my free time I’m usually planning our next family adventure. Whether it’s a trip to the mountains, beach or all the parks and museums in between. I love being outdoors and exploring new places and creating new memories here in beautiful NC!
