Whitening with Zoom
We’ve been listening to feedback from our patients about how we can make teeth whitening at our office more effective and efficient. With our new Zoom Blue LED Light, we can now offer our patients the dramatic results they’ve been looking for in just one visit to our office!
What is the process like? Will it hurt?
Our in-office experience begins with prepping your mouth for whitening! We will take precautions to protect your gums and lips before whitening begins, followed by an application of advanced whitening gel to your teeth.
Phillips Zoom conducted a 3 month study in which 99% of the patients surveyed experienced little to no sensitivity. To ensure our patients with sensitive teeth are comfortable during their whitening treatment, Blue Ridge Family Dental will also apply a light coating of sensitivity relief gel before AND after whitening with the Zoom light.
Once your teeth are prepped, we will shine the Zoom blue LED light onto your teeth for 15 minutes. This process is repeated up to 3 times until your desired shade is reached, for a total of 45 minutes!
A post-treatment gel is then applied to your teeth to protect the enamel and prevent sensitivity before we send you home with a complimentary set of take home trays and whitening gels for future maintenance.
